Repair Grants For Pensioners

Not really sure where to find out about roof (small flat one) renovation grants, I'm a pensioner and own my properly outright, I have a partner living with me, but though we share household expenses I am solely responsible for repairs,would I still qualify? Any advice would be helpful,thankyou

Local authorities can give means-tested grants to home owners which are, in effect, loansl to be repaid through a charge on the property. For example, here's the relevant page for my local authority:
