21 Answers
I have decided to try a little adventure and live in a caravan for a year or 2 travelling around. But thing is what do I do for postage etc? Anyone done this before? I need it for insurance and Tax I pay etc... I dont want to use a friends address as too much personal information.

You could rent a PO Box but you'd still need to go check & get whatever came. Maybe you need to tell folk you only want contact on your PAYG mobile ? Or e-mail ? Or ask a family member / friend to act as a "care of" place and they can contact you.

Good, but it does still suggest you have one designated mailbox you have to go to to check and collect. I didn't see an option to change it on a weekly basis to near where you are. Maybe one needs to stay at a camp site for at least a fortnight at a time and get one's family to forward it there, on request.
This site offers actual 'street addresses ' for travellers

Poste Restante... To get your mail you need proof of your address. dont think that will work:
Pick up your post
Pop into your designated Post Office branch to pick up your mail. It would be ideal for you to take your passport as a form of identification for you. If you normally live in the UK, and travelling within the UK, you must also take proof of your address with you such as a utility bill in order to collect your mail.
