Ladybirds?

Are you getting the swarms of Ladybirds in your garden/ house at the moment?

Mine are coming and settling in the utility room when the door is open, which it has been for the last three days.

Haven't seen a ladybird for quite some time. I'm east of Leeds, where are you, Tilly? Perhaps you're in a warmer climate?

Can't say that I have seen any recently, Yilly. Maybe it's a Southern thing.

I'm in Bedfordshire and I am getting loads of Ladybirds swarming about. I think they are looking for a winter roost as they are coming into the house and crawling along the walls. I have to shoo them off before I close the back door.

I was sitting on the backdoor step today, chatting to Tilly, and these Ladybirds just kept flying past me and settling on my utility room walls. There were literally dozens of them. I had to utilise the feather duster to shift them.
