Ceramic Tiles For Floor Or Laminate Flooring Warmer ?

im getting the floors done, we have ceramic tiles on floors now, house is bloody freezing lol i think wooden flooring would be better to keep heat in , what you think ?

If a wooden floor feels warmer than a ceramic tile one it follows that less heat is passing through it.

Both the above answers are right (except that ceramic tiles transmit heat by conduction, not reflection - a technical detail).
Much depends on what's under the ceramic tiles. Unless it is a nice fat layer of insulation, ceramic tiles will conduct more heat into the ground, so a wooden floor is better, or cheaper is to insulate the ceramic tiles with decent underlay and carpet.
My house has underfloor heating, so ceramic tiles are necessary because they conductor the heat underneath out better. Under the heating layer is a massive thicknesses of fixed foam, to prevent me losing heat into the ground. So for me ceramic tiles are the best.
