Is there solution to the removal of tea bags when tea is made in individual mugs? I seem to get piles of them and trails of dripping tea stains from the removal to the bin. Then water pools at the bottom of the bin. Is there a wonderful invention that will squeeze out all the moisture at the point of removal?

I'm sure I've seen a tea bag squeezer somewhere.
Squeezing the bag against the side of the mug with a teaspoon works for me and no drips.

No doubt Lakeland Plastic sells a device almost as effective for £5.00.
Thought so, loads on Amazon.
Don't laugh at this but I've seen someone hanging them out on their washing line before.
i throw mine in the spin dryer, quick spin and job done
I have such a device that I bought from Whittards a few years ago it is very useful I use it all the time . It is like a large pair of tweezers which squashes out the water .
Or you could just leave them in a mug and throw them in the bin bag moments before you take it to the bin outside - or your compost heap. That way you won't have to spend any money at all.

Then to wash the cup/mug, just bleach to get rid of the staining.
put them in the compost bin
I use them for feeding the mater.
I squeeze them with a teaspoon against the side of the mug and place on a saucer. When the saucer pile gets too much it goes in the food recycling bag.

I have those tea bag tweezers but I often drop the tea bag before it gets to the saucer, and they almost always drop from the spoon after I have pressed
the bag to the side of the mug.
They are good for tired eyes. My vet used to tell me to bathe the cat's eyes with them when he got conjunctivitis too.
Don't forgot to let them cool first, lol!
I put my teaspoon squeezed tea bags in a china dish lined with paper towel. When the pile gets too high, it goes in the composting bin.
Is this a trick question or are you really serious ?

There's an amazing device called a teaspoon .. use it to remove the teabag from the cup and drop the teabag into the sink.
Then squeeze the teabag with the back of the teaspoon against the sink. Before using the teabag for composting.
Squeeze bag against cup (that way you get a stronger brew too) Then directly into a tea bag holder thingy, in my case it's a teeny tiny pot with a lid kept purposely at the side of the kettle. When its filled, i tip em into a sandwich bag and into the bin.
I just have an ice cream tub that permanently sits on the work surface. Everything organic gets thrown into it and once it's full it gets thrown over the fence.
Which doesn't half annoy the neighbours ^

;-)
B00: Yeah especially when they are out sun bathing. At least they get a quicker tan if I throw teabags at them.
