(creda 12000d) washing machine, run 2 cycles and its not emptying the water

i am in middle of running another wash on a different setting.

any thoughts on what it could be, machine has run well for couple of years without problems.

Sounds like the filter is blocked or broken. The one on my washer broke and it was going to cost £80 for a plumber to fit a new one. I did a bit of research and bought one off the net and it was really easy to fit -pull out push new one in.

It is possible that the pump is faulty - if so the only option is to replace it. You can buy a new pump on the internet and there is very likely a guide to be found on the net also for carrying out the job. The work is likely to be fairly simple, depending on the make and model but you must drain the machine first. To do that lower the outlet end on the drain hose and catch the water into a basin or bucket as it drains out (possibly somewhat slowly) by gravity. Before deciding that the pump needs to be changed make sure it is turning (if not it may be jammed) - to check that you need to open up the water path and access the impeller so you can turn it by hand.
