I live in a Park Home and it has an outward opening back door. Is it possible to have it converted to inward opening and, if yes, is it a major job? Many thanks for all replies.

It's PVC, Builder
As a park home is small would there be room to have an inward opening door?

Also for safety reasons, in case of fire for example, it is much safer to have an outward opening door.
can't you removed and turn the frame complete with the door. mine opens inward from left to right but if it was turned around wouldn't it open outward right to left? the lock/handles will have to be reversed alsoif its a key one side and a turn knob the other or am i missing some obvious problem here?
With uPVC, there's no easy/practicable/cheap way of reversing the door, Liz.

At a push, what I have done before, is to take out the whole frame & door as a unit. Then just turn the whole thing around and re-fit. They're only held in with a few long screws through the frame jambs, after you've cut through the silicone sealing.

Any drip (sticky-outy bit) at the head would have to be taken off and put on the "new" exterior side.

Also, these frames sit on the threshold, which should be discarded as the "stop" needs to be on the inside now.

Lengths of standard, 150mm open-in threshold can be bought at any uPVC door and window supplier. Fit this, and set the complete frame onto it.
Paul got there first^^^^

It's normal to have a keyhole inside and outside. No need to reverse it.
