When we bought our house last year it took ages to got through (about 3 months). The solicitor of the people we were buying from was very slow at doing anything. We were told originally it takes between 6 and 8 weeks for everything to be done. If you want to know whats going on just phone the estate agent the house is being sold through. sorry i can't be more of a help.
