Feather Down Filled Bed Topper...? It Says Sponge Wipe Only But Really

needs to be washed. My husband has greasy skin and although he has a shower every day it still goes through the bedding and has marked the topper. I dont like to leave it like it and was wondering if anyone else has washed theres?

I'd have is professionally cleaner rather than try to manage it myself. We're lucky enough to have a good local cleaners who look after all the hotels and restaurants, they do duvets and we take ours in as we change it for the season.

It's a risk washing these items unless they specifically say "machine washable"....and they need to be dried very thoroughly because they can go mouldy.
An alternative is dry-cleaning...likely to be pricey though.
