Can it be done, and if so, when is the right time - and do we need to do anything in particular to settle it into its new home? Any advice would be appreciated. (Just moved house and have yet to find a gardener).

Personally rather than have an untidy patch of scruffiness of the garden almost all year round I'd sooner buy a bunch in Waitrose when I need it - but my husband thinks differently. :o)
