Any size that covers the occupants will surely function and thus work. Whether you like the lack of base coverage is surely a personal taste thing ?
be ok for what?
Question Author
will it be ok for the super king size bed .. will it fit .. will it cover the bed !!!!
If you have the choice go for Super King Duvet, but its up to you to decide if a king would be OK. If its going free than accept it and give it a try, if its expensive then buy the correct size. Is it a new bed?
The difference by the way is 30cm or 1 ft width.
King is 5 x 6'6
Super is 6 x 6'6

Yes it's a new bed .. I've actually ordered a super king size but it hasn't arrived yet but was thinking about exchanging it to King size as we are using double at the moment and it just fits but with no over hang plus I think there's a lot more bedding options with king size .. just wanted to see if anyone else has a super but just uses a king
you may have problems getting linen etc for super king
Question Author
yes I have found this out already
You could do like the germans do, and have one single duvet each. You can actually buy wide enough fabric for super-king-size quilt covers in some places, like Birmingham markets. Sheets, however, would be a problem, unless you wanted a seam down the middles.
