sorry, I hit the wrong button, click the link hen choose kitchen and cookware from the list on the left, then scroll down

Dont use a chip pan. They are unhealthy, and hot oil causes more house fires than anything else.

Buy frozen chips you can cook in the oven. We use them all the time.

i know that, this is why i'm cleaning out the chip pan

use a cheap bottle of coke pour in the pan and leave for a few hours, or better overnight.

works wonders apparently, i havent ever tried it but my mum does and said its great, puts me off drrinking fizzy drinks though!

thanks boobesque - i'll try that.

I soak mine in hot water and washing powder over night then when you rinse it all grease gone. I use washing powder on my sunday roast tins aswell its good stuff.

vehelpfulguy talks out of his 4rse! if you are careful and never fill the pan more than half full of fat, and ensure that the fat is not boiling like a vat of pirrahna at feeding time, you should not have an issue. I've used one for years and never had a fire. But then i'm not a retarded money who can't cook. Also a bit of excersise away from commenting on everything on the internet will soon shift the calories of a great tasting meal. Everything in moderation!!
