Sunivic Wireless Thermostat
7 Answers
Just moved into my lovely little flat and have gas central heating. The thermostat is on the wall in the lounge.
Am I right in thinking that if I press the set button and punch in 20 degrees from 15 degrees, the heating will only fire up and heat the radiators when it needs to reach 20 degrees.
The thermostat is sitting on 19 and the radiators are cold.

I'm assuming this is all in Celsius, in which case in my opinion 19° is rather cool and it's possible your room is already over that. In any case you can't be sure the reading is correct. In your shoes I'd keep increasing it until either it started to come on when you want more heat, or it is clear you have an issue with the system that needs fixing.
