Today's Little Mystery.

In my front garden there is a rose bush....inherited because I don't like growing roses but this has a beautiful flower so it stayed.

Returning from shopping today I was aware of something different.....took a while for the penny to drop.

Someone has pruned the rose bush......quite enthusiastically......☺

Maybe they wanted a few cuttings and pruned it in order to cover their tracks?

I'm sure you're joshing, Pete.....but.....not long after I moved here I drove from Corby to my old house in Kettering and parked on the drive....

My mind was on the prayers I was to lead for a funeral......well, that's what I told myself...... :-(

I hope they didn't over prune it. Perhaps your neighbours saw the person doing it. A bit cheeky to do it without your permission though.

Right....off out to deliver a huge leg of lamb now......

I bought it to cook then thought....blow this...could take a while and mess up the kitchen...so I phoned a friend...as you do....

Fancy a nice roast dinner tonight.....lamb and all the trimmings?

They could have swept up all the fallen leaves, Cupid....now that would have been helpful.....

They've pruned it so well, Marval that I reckon they are very tidy gardeners and cleared up....I'd pay them to do it every year....x

Tony's put a tree up in the shed, Cupid....stocked up for Christmas..... Majestic and Tesco delivery today....so no room for anyone else.....
He's even hung up a sparkly stocking...wonder where he got that?... ;-)
