Acer Aspire One 722 Wireless Problems
4 Answers
I am trying to get my Acer notebook to connect wirelessly to the broadband in a rented cottage here in Mid Wales.
I have connected my samsung tablet OK, and I am using it now. Ditto with my iphone 4, but I can't get the Acer to find a wireless connection.
The little orange wireless light is lit OK ( although I can't seem to toggle it on and off, by using blue Fn and function key F3 ? )
This ruddy tablet with its virtual keyboard is diving me MAD ! I have fingers like pigs nipples as we well, which isn't helping !
So.....what am I doing wrong with my Acer Notebook ? I was able to check it was working OK with my own broadband wireless, when I was home at the weekend. I am by a computer beginner, but this is driving me MAD !

So the next stage is to click the Connections icon at the bottom right-hand corner of your screen. (You might need to go via 'Show hidden icons'). Have you done that and is the cottage's wi-fi shown there as an available connection? If so, have you clicked on it and then on 'Connect'? Have you been asked to enter a password and have you tried to do so?
