Rose Tree
We have a standard rose tree that is quite poorly, dead wood at the bottom and black spot. We thought we'd get rid of it and buy a new one. Can we plant a new one in the same place?

Dig in loads of new fresh manure, and once planted give it and all your existing plants and nice new layer of mulch, as this will stop the plants becoming water logged and help stop the disease spreading should it come back.
