Do you know what's causing it?

The wallpaper will be removed in the not too distant future - removing the mould is only for the short term

You could try applying white vinegar to the area; let it soak in for an hour or two (applying more if it dries out); and then rinse off with a dampened cloth.

By the way, I tried this on mold in antique/vintage clock cases, and it worked.

I truly cannot think of anything that is non-chemical to get rid of mould.

Vinegar, soda etc are all chemicals.

Just washing it with water (still a chemical really) will not work.

Find the source of the dampness , treat it, make sure your ventilation is good and the mould should go.

When i said 'non chemical ' - i meant something you don't need to wear gloves for i.e. not harmful to skin
