Bathroom Tiles V Pvc Panelling
I intend to renovate our bathroom and would like to hear whether readers have used PVC wall panelling instead of tiles. Also, which comes out cheaper, tiles or panelling. Any advise and opinions would be appreciated.

Besides the panelling sheets being quite expensive, there is normally quite a bit of wastage – our bathroom fitter advised that the surface on which the panelling is mounted/fixed requires more work to prepare than is the case for tiles.
All of our bathroom walls were tiled with tilling material costing around £35/sq metre, which was significantly cheaper than had we opted for panelling. A mixture of tiling/panelling was an option – but I did not think they would look good together.
