Caravan Parks Open All Year Round

anyone know or can give details of all year round holiday/caraven residential parks in uk
preferably short commute to london or within a few hours anyway. just interested in this at the moment as i will have a long term work in london area , been getting phone calls everyday from companies so i think about time i made a move over there.
i currently live in northern ireland and pay rent of £6000 a year . so it makes sense to buy a decent static home for say 20k and hope that it will do me the rest of my life . im 48.
looking somewhere with reasonable ground rent per year.

There is no way a £20k caravan will last you your lifetime. Every park has restrictions as to the age of the caravans they allow on their sites.

You'll not get anything anywhere near London for that money dd. Have a look here and choose your county.

BTW my family has just sold one in Dorset for £180k situated on a small well kept residential site. Any decent site will insist on well kept homes and sometimes even replacement after so many years. And sometimes they insist the replacement has to be bought through them (the site owners) and of course they make a profit on that. Lots of pitfalls to watch out for but very nice if you get a good one in a nice location.

only 1,200 euro per year, though i would be afraid to invest most of my savings then end up being bored down there.

if i thought i could buy something somewhere nice for 40-50 then i would possibly go for it, im getting older and i am starting to think about my future, i cannot work away from home and still pay digs in say london plus my rented flat in belfast at £6500 a year.
