I have one of the above and the ON/OFF pull cord has broken on the inside of the heater.I don't recognise the type of screw heads holding the thing together. Can someone suggest how to remove the screws,I don't want to throw away the heater for the sake of 24" of cord. Thanks.
The screw holes are quite deep and of small dia. so a photo would be difficult. The socket in the heads look triangular but I wouldn't swear to it as they may have been distorted. Not much help I'm afraid.Thanks.
It looks like the tamperproof hex. head.or similar. If it is is it possible to drill the head off without running into the surrounding plastic casing? Thanks.
Hi Vulcan 42 I had a look at that site.My trouble is (possibly)that the depth of the holes being about 25mm and are c8mm dia.By the looks of the bits the profile of them is shorter before the larger shank begins therefor it won't reach the screw.Clear as mud I know.Thanks.
Thanks for the info but as you say they would be more expensive and not really sure which one I need.So the cost would not be much different to buying a new heater. Thanks for trying.
