does anyone know how I would grow a conker tree with my daughter. She things they have to go in the fridgre first?

I have grown several and never used the fridge.
The best one was planted in compost,. When it got very cold out the pot was out in the garage , forgotten about and the next spring had done really well.
I have also managed to grow several young oak trees.
All have been given to our local playing fields gardener, and most are still doing well after 10 to 12 years.

Yes sorry about that one minute I was in animals and nature then after I posted I realised it was in tv dont know how to change it.
