No Water!

I seem to have no water in either tap in the kitchen, and no hot or cold in the bathroom sink. The bath has no hot water coming out but the cold tap works okay. I have phoned the water company but they can't send anyone out for several hours. I was just wondering what may be the cause. There are no incidents flagged in my area for burst water mains etc.

I wouldn't say it was a matter for the water company, Scarlett, as you have a supply to the bath tap that is working.

The symptoms don't make any sense, I'm afraid. It really needs a plumber to investigate if it happens again. It's also essential to know if you have a gravity system, or a combi.
