I saw a lovely suite - absolutely loved it - very soft and soft. However the design - probably year 60 or 70 decor

Small but has the most comfortable I have sat on many day.

It sorta looks 70s or 80s. style. I could go for it but I have been used to big heavy suites - I have my doubts re this.

You know if is bit scitty lookig - so should I for the comfy or the scitty look (appearance)

Comfort is the main thing , styles go in and out of fashion - love it then get it.

Suite is fine except for springs I sat on etc.

Last one I had done was 20 years ago and was £800 and he was a friend too.

Yes, that's right Chris - new sofas are cheaper than good quality old ones because of the construction.

Some upholsterers won't touch the modern stuff as they are too frail when taken apart.

When I inquired about getting my sofa reupholstered the first thing I was asked was how much the sofa cost originally.
