can be stronger if that's the word than another socket on the wall.
if its on a different circuit perhaps?

Yes. I would doubt a problem within the mains socket as you'd notice it with other things. But these micro USB connections are, IMO, dodgy solutions. Need wriggling sometimes.

the reason i ask is i put my phone on charge in one socket, and it took an age to charge up, changed it to a different socket on the wall and it charged up no problem.
Sounds like a connection issue.
A mains ring is all connected together.
Mobiles/batteries are strange beasts when it comes to charging.

I am on the second charger for my Kindle. They see to be fragile. The mini-USB connection is, I think, the problem. I have found that charging it whilst it is propped up against something makes it slightly more reliable.

My main problem is that Frankie sucks the mini-UBS and the other end is always plugged into the mains. Keeping it away from him is not as simple as it sounds.
