How To Clean Mould Off An Oversized Teddy Bear

My children were given a large oversized bear each from their teacher a few weeks before he died. We have since moved and had to put them (along with other possessions) into storage for a while. On taking them out they are covered in mould. What is the best way to clean them up? They don't fit in the machine and most products I have seen contain bleach of some sort which will damage them.
