... but first John must fumigate the gazebo.

It's a lovely evening and Janet wants to have it outdoors (dinner that is).

Given the state of her legs (see threads ad nauseam) John thinks it must be inside the mosquito netted gazebo - but even that seems to have some of the whiny little b'stards inside it.

So far John has deployed a can of Raid, three insecticidal candles and more joss sticks than a festival full of hippies could dream of.

The patio now smells like a 1970s squat - it just needs a smelly sheepskin coat and a visit from the Drugs Squad for the recreation to be perfect.

Dinner is in the oven - but may yet be eaten indoors ... the Alentejo Red is, however, slipping down a treat.

Saúde!

I know what a 1970's squat smells like. It smells like someones squatted in it. Believe me.
Well that tops onions on the sheepskin!...You squatted or just visited?....x
Ooo..I don't know about squats( I'm surprised Tilly does!)...But I do know about smelly sheepskin coats. I can even remember buying mine in NYC.
Nothing Tilly did would surprise me, Pasta.. ;-)

But weren't the coats lovely......all that embroidery more than made up for the smell......and if a group of you wore them into the pub you were guaranteed space at the bar..... :-)
