Turning my pillow over at night to get the nice cold side, sitting in the garden on a sunny day with a glass of chilled wine and a book, taking a pair of jeans out of the washing machine and finding a mislaid £10 in the pocket....fresh crusty bread and butter.... the list is endless. hearing the words " what a lovely room" when people walk into the living room or have a nose around the other well thought out rooms, makes me glad i know something about diy and colour coordination. getting it all right is most satisfying.
