Hi,
I want to change either a bathroom into a study or ensuite to a walk in wardrobe in a residential park home I recently bought (not a holiday home), make better use of the space - don't need 2 loos ! LOL
Would the 10 year warranty be affected, or any other potential issues ?
Thanks :)

If its any use to you CW1, I had an 8 berth/static holiday home on the south east coast, a few years ago.

Having 4 kids, I changed our largh/ish double bedroom, to a 2 bunk bed room, changed the 2nd bedroom by making a door through to 1st shower room.

I notified the site owners first, who sold me the home, and they were fine, as long as it was checked by the fire & insurance people.

Ah, ok thanks. I don't plan on changing it structurally, just removing bath (or shower depending which room), loo, sink & cupboards, then fitting carpet, maybe fitted wardrobe units (not even that if a study), or couple of power points & telephone point if a study. & do something with the wall coverings too I guess.
I did think if I had to ask anyone it'd be Platinum Homes who issue the warranty. Wouldn't be keen on mentioning it to the site owner just at the moment, we're in the middle of discussions about the unfinished skirting that should've been done nearly 2yrs ago !
