I was the girl's night out driver so no drink......but I'm now on the patio with a night-cap and it's a beautiful night......calm and cool.....and very dark....

So, if I thought the slugs, snails and the odd frog would leave me alone, I'd bring down the duvet, pour one more drink and sleep well here....it'd be cool and comfy bliss......x

Slugs and snails..." shudder"...nothing else scares me like slimey things. I dont take the dog out after dark due to my fear/abhorrence.

put a little of your namesake all around you, that should keep them busy, but be careful when you stand up ...there might be a bit of a squishshshshsh !!!

I hate slugs too, Pasta.....and it's the standing up bit, Seek....apart from wasting the G.....

I once, in the dark and my bare feet, stood on a huge slug.......it concertinaed up between my toes and the thought still makes me shiver..... :-(

At least it helps and feeds the hedgehogs. Where I live its been such a hot dry summer again, I havent seen a single hedgehog, and when they come into the rescue centres they are so often badly underweight.

Hi, Gmum....not a hedgehog in sight here for years....my daughter has a family of them and I did in my last garden....but not here... :-(
