If you have a Tool Mart near you, I think they do a ladies electric drill. I'm sure I've seen one.

Also I'm sure Amazon will have one.
Small drill, less power, bigger drill, more power & last longer JJ
What the devil is a ladies drill? Pink?
Light weight I assumed. But pink would be nice too.
I am afraid that with electric drills , small and light means low powered and not a lot of use.
First establish what use it will be put to first, then buy drill to suit.
I can only share this with you and it may be of no use to you JJ, I needed a drill once to put up some pictures, they were the sort you drill onto the wall, I bought a 'Challenge' battery charged drill in Argos, I know nothing about drills to be truthful, but when I had finished using it, realised there was no need for it, so I put it back in box, all it's accessories and paperwork, dropped it back into argos, told the staff member it didn't work for me, wasn't powerful enough (it was brilliant) she just took the receipt and the drill and refunded me - I'm not suggesting you do that, it was the best thing for me at the time ;)
Small and light often mean no hammer action and drilling masonary is often required in the home.
Ducksie, on a point of safety, be very careful when banging in Nails / screws into household walls, you could drill/ hit a Water pipe or a live wire.
Thank you twr for the note of caution, that was many year ago and it was on the chimney breast, I get tradesmen in now to do my 'diy' for me ;)
xx
