The rights registrable under the act were terminated in Oct 2013 if not already entered
hooray no more written rights after that then ?
erm no - there is an exception ( haha!) for mineral and coal mining rights which are registrable - if they are provable by document - after that date.
so.... keep the documents.....( because they might show the right claimed by a third party has already been extinguished)

My house is Victorian and the comprehensive set of deeds we have make very interesting reading.
But having bought this house in 2002, ownership is registered with the Land Registry and from that point of view the 'physical' deeds aren't really necessary.
We received them at 'completion' of the purchase at no additional cost.

Morning all.
Not mortgage free yet because the bloody Halifax Building Society won't let me pay it all in one lump. I can only pay a maximum payment of £30.000 in one day, even though its a Halifax account that I am paying it off with. I have to phone back today to pay the rest(wait for it). I will have to pay more than yesterday because of the daily interest. What a way to make fast money. I have made a complaint and if Im not happy I will terminate my accounts with them and go somewhere else to put savings into. What should have been a happy day yesterday I was fuming all day.. Thanks Answerbankers for all the advice.xxx
