Talk of candles and incense (in Tills post below) during church service. I'm currently burning incense and 16 candles in my living room. Very relaxing, along with some sedate chilling music on my lappy.
Anyone else use candles and incense at home? For some reason my mates seem to think that its a 'womans thing' but do comment that my home is very relaxing.
Just curious, thanks.
Not so much lately. I buy candles, then hate to ruin their perfection by burning them. I just bought one called Amber and Oud Wood...it smells the way I'd expect Marrakech to smell.
My favourite incense is Nag Champa.
I don't like incense but do use scented candles. All around the house I have got battery candles with timers so as the light goes, the candles come on which is very cosy and comforting.
//I think candle light is much more relaxing//
I always think theres something 'primal' about candles (and fire in any context) Much prefer them to lamps.
NoM, I'm not to bad, thanks for asking
Dont worry EDDIE, I'm careful with my candles...(unless ive been on the pop....)
Pasta, glad its not just me. Was beginning to wonder if my son had put weed in my incense :-)
I always associate incense with the joss sticks which were permanently burning in our 6th form common room, in the forlorn hope of hiding the smell of smell of weed. Oh, happy days!
