Heating A Conservatory
27 Answers
I have an enormous conservatory(probably about 25ft x 17ft) and I like to work in there. But it is perishing cold (sun isnt getting on it until later in the day).
Any recommendations for a portable heater? I am not sure whether to go for calor gas or an electric fan heater.
It's well ventilated and I have a CO2 alarm thing.

I second the electric radiator suggestion bm. I had one for just that purpose and it was fine. Kept it at minimum setting and left it on through most of the winter and my electricity bill rose by not very much. That was 10 years ago and I've still got it now for emergencies. Bought it from Costco if I remember correctly.
Ask for one of these for Christmas?

We have a radiator in ours and it is still freezing. A portable heater works well but will be expensive if you're in there for much of the day. When the sun comes in they do get very hot and you may need afan to cool you down. Mrs F-f has something that does both
