As A Cook I Quit

Doing burgers and chips for tea and a chocolate strawberry lattice for pudd.

Even though put icing sugar down the pastry stuck to my work top. Then I hadn’t rolled it out enough to make the lattice.

Dropped dad’s burger in the cat water bowl. Didn’t have a replacement burger or so I thought found some in freezer..began to fry it it basically shrivelled up. Panicked what do I make for dad’s tea...chip roll!

Like I always say, Queenie......to hell with cooking.....just prick and ping something from the freezer and add gravy if Tony's visiting....x

I'd do the burger anyway. Chip butties are OK in emergency - it there is any cheese in the house, then Chip's'n Cheese is a known dish. :)

Jno I like to cook. Plus dad’s been at work all day and we had takeaway through the week.

Lol I would have bednobs but the cat water bowl - didn’t think it advisable. Don’t want him to end up with a dodgy tum.

We usually do a ready meal gness but I don’t want to live a life of ready meals :(

He doesn’t like cheese jourdain - plus I finished it when I did oHs and mines. He enjoyed the chip Buttie though - phew
