Net Curtains

Anyone know where I could buy net curtains - gold-ish colour - that are transparent from the inside, but from the outside you can't see into the house? They do exist, honest!

why not just buy a blind and close it?

If you have a Mostyns franchise within a department store near you they have some lovely ones.We have the cream coloured ones with gold edging and you can see out but nobody can see in.Better than blinds as we never close our curtains at night.I hate that closed in feeling!!

Yes that's the firm.My niece works for them within our local department store.You usually find them in independent department stores.Ours are a really heavy cream coloured net with a tiny fleur de lise pattern in a gold thread.They hang beautifully and wash like a dream.

i had some from choice catalogue they are sheer inside and you cant see in..

Not all nets do that crisgal.....the ones I'm talking about cannot be peered through at all. From the outside they are totally untransparent. Ordinary net curtains ARE see-through if you look hard enough. Mind you... I suppose you have to put them up the right way round for the effect.
