Did I notice a bamboo ladder turn into an aluminium one when the earthlings were exploring the giant aliens cave system? the robot climbed up it to press the buttons on the big stone panel. Odd as they did not take a ladder with them anyway! But bamboo! it looked like something a designer shop would sell to hang tea towels on.
