What A *** Awful Day!!

This morning I went to hoover the car, got my feet tangled in lead whilst going down step and fell with hoover onto my gravel driveway. In front of bemused passers by. Cue sore knees and hands, and very red face.
This afternooon at local shops I had my purse stolen, containing bank card, driving license, money, all my store cards etc..... Get home to report it stolen, check online banking whilst I’m on hold and the thief had already used it in two stores within 20 mins of stealing it! ( it was contactless)
Apart from the sheer inconvenience of it all, I can’t believe that some people can stop so low and be so brazen. For all they knew that could have been the only money I had to last till Xmas. So so angry.

I'm just hoping that a big dose of Karma lands in Jackdaw's life ... I could do with some Schadenfreud e for Christmas.

I can see what Jackdaw is getting at though. The times I have seen people flaunting their purses or wallets is beyond belief. Have often felt like tapping their arm to let them know how stupid they are being by leaving their money on virtual 'offer'. Very few thieves ever show any sense of remorse or guilt and chose their victims without thought of consequence. The moral of the story is to take responsibility for our own actions.
