Overlay Worktops

I want to update mu kitchen, has anyone had their worktop replaced with a quartz or granite overlay.Can you give me any idea what a 3 metre length fitted would cost?

I had an estimate for a couple of overlays about a year ago, found the cost astronomical. I wanted 1 x 2 metre length and 1 x 1.8 metre length - the estimate (middle of three I obtained) was £2,500 !! There must be some cheaper but you only get what you pay for. Hope this helps.

Thanks for your answer, I knew they wouldn't be cheap, but that is way over what I was hoping for!
