Plug-In Fan .... Where To Get One From ????

I'm after a plug-in fan - something around the same size as a plug-in air freshener, so a complete unit would be ideal, rather than something with a cable/lead.
I basically want it, to plug in behind my hi-fi unit in the corner of the room, so I can have a constant air flow and prevent any mildew building up on the wall, due to stagnant, static air.
We have a dehumidifier in the room, but it's at the opposite end of the room (there's nowhere else to put it) so it doesn't really draw air out from the back of the hi-fi unit.
I only want a very gentle air flow, so maybe a variable speed may be required, unless I can get one with a low speed fan.
I'm having problems finding one ..... does anyone know if these things actually exist .... and more to the point - where do I get one from please??

I don’t think anyone makes such a thing that you want due to the limitations on where the airflow from the fan could be directed in normal use. Therefore I would suggest something like this:-...

Yea I just want a complete unit that plugs in, similar to a plug in air freshener, so no separate cables, etc.
The plug in heater does have a variable temperature, so I could set it at 15 degrees, but I'm wondering if it would cut off when it reached 15 degrees, in which case it probably wouldn't even switch on.

Used with a direct plug-in USB charger – but you might be lucky and have a USB output somewhere close to where you want the fan.
Although cheaper units are available – this claims to be super silent; it would be annoying to have a constant loud hum/whirring from behind your hi-fi unit.

Haha .... it's def not damp. We've just bought new furniture and the old hi-fi unit hasn't been moved in aaaaages and there are patches of mildew directly behind the unit.

I'm going to replace one of the plug sockets behind the unit with something like this:

I changed one of the sockets in the kitchen with one of these a while ago, so I'm surprised I didn't think of it earlier. I'd looked at these fans that plug into USB sockets but didn't consider them, so at least now I can have another look and consider the ones that plug into a USB socket :)

Not necessarily. Warm moist air hitting a relatively cold surface will inevitably cause mildew, especially where there's a lack of ventilation. I remember a few years ago behind the TV unit, the electric cable had a safety label attached to the cable and it was approx 2" x 1" in size. It was resting next to the wall and hadn't been moved in quite a while. When we had a spring clean and moved the cable, there was a 2" x 1" black patch on the wall where mildew had formed, due to the lack of air circulation behind the label - it was quite strange to look at, as the rest of the wall was fine :)
