8 Answers
I had an idea about my graduation gown for high school. The thing is that our school colors dont match with what i have in mind. So i want to know if i can make a graduation gown from a design that i really like and wear it to graduation.

I am assuming that you already have some skill in this sort of thing....Alternatively ( and this would be my option because I find threading the sewing machine properly a bit of a problem) Buy all the material, pattern and thread and get someone else to run it up....!!
You've posted on a UK-based site but the content of your post (and its timing) suggest that you're in the USA. We don't have 'graduations' from schools here in UK (only from universities), so people here won't be familiar with the ceremonies that you're referring to.
However our university graduation ceremonies are founded around 'tradition' and 'uniformity', with it being seen as important that the robes worn by graduates today are identical to those worn by people who graduated from the same institutions several centuries ago. 'Fashion' most certainly never comes into it.
I suspect that US high schools will also value the concept of 'tradition' in graduation ceremonies, so 'individualism' would be frowned upon on such occasions.
