Please help, I have a black pair of trousers from Next, and decided to re-dye black, I have done this sort of thing before. I followed the instructions, and when they had gone through the first wash with the dye and salt, it said to continue with the hottest wash 95 degrees, which I did. However when they came out of the wash they have some very sharp creases in the lower leg, I have ironed washed, pulled, done everything I can think of, and cannot remove them, does anyone know of any way to get them out? The material is
73% cotton 26% Nylon 1% Lycra.

I would have thought 95 degrees was a bit too hot.. although they are 73% cotton.Have you tried ironing them with a damp cloth over them.Otherwise wash them again on a cool wash and hang them out as wet as possible to drip dry.
Failing that a trip to the dry cleaners where they have hot pressing machines. Some dry cleaners will do just pressing. That may get the creases out ,but..I think the extra hot wash can set the creases and they are the devil too remove.

Thanks shaneystar, I also think 95 degrees was too hot. I think the instructions probably meant to wash at the hottest for the material, but it did say 95 so I went for it! Looks like I'll take your advice about the dry cleaners and see what they can do as I've tried everything else. Trust it to happen to one of my favorite pairs of trousers. Thanks again.
