Get the keys at the weekend - my friend and I will be over at the new place to give it the once over and put up curtains etc prior to me moving in on Monday and Mr BM a month later. What do I need to take with me? Have I missed anything off the essentials list?

Lol, Goodgoalie - I think I may have to replace my stocks because I seem to be getting a lot of headaches.

Voltage its a nuisance isnt it? My hold up has been the agents. Mr BM went and camped in their office last Thursday because it had taken them THREE weeks to do one very small job. They did it just to get rid of large angry man taking up room in their sales area.

Maybe not - but you can guarantee that something will fail to light if you have no matches with you :)

You will also lose all your chargers in the move (they go to the Costa del Tech for a holiday I think) - so having the relevant ones in your 'moving in kit' helps.

j cloths and cif and something to put round the loo, either bleach or limescale remover if its in a hard water area., also scourers. and oven cleaner.

Check they havent taken the outside washing line with them or you will need to buy a new one., this happened to my neighbours.
