Bliss Today......
67 Answers
...I did it! I got rid of a circular bed under a tree....no more weeding......membraned and slated it and planted a metal sheep....a cockerel and two hens.....
After digging and replanting more garden a glass of wine was called for and the joy of just sitting in the warm sun was heaven....then......
I spotted a peculiar creature at the bottom of the garden....my eyesight's not great.....it looked large and was hopping so I picked up the ever ready bins and watched.....I did feel a little intrusive.....two mating frogs who hopped the width of the garden......great leaping hops....
Tough cookie the leaping frog.....lazy but keen piggy backing frog.....
So....tadpoles soon! More bliss..... :-)

The frog element of the OP reminded me of this story : Richard Olivier, the son of Sir Laurence Olivier and Joan Plowright was only a little boy when, on the front at Brighton, he was confronted by the sight of two dogs mating. The lad turned to Noel Coward, who was the Olivier's house guest, and asked, "What are they doing, Uncle Noel?" "The one in front is blind"...

Beauty and the Beast will be good, Eleena....isn't it great taking young ones to the theatre.....x
Just chilling here slightly, Pasta......I did think of getting the fire pit going with peat but although my neighbours don't mind it I don't want to make them close their windows on the first lovely day....
I now have a wren outside the patio doors....closest to the house I have seen one.....more bliss.... :-)

Seeing 2 big rabbits chasing over the field behind our house in the sunshine - accompanied by a tiny one! We'd wondered why we'd only seen one adult recently. Mind you, if they go for our lettuce we'll turn into Mr. McGregor! Also getting to the nursery and managing to find the tiny trailing begonias I want to bring on for hanging baskets... traipsing up a village street singing behind no fewer than 3 donkeys and lastly....the Sun!
