She did give me the Duvet and Pillow Cases and I am finding them pretty classy and luxurious.
Now my bed is double sized since I changed from king and I bought double-sized sheets but have difficult in stretchin the bughers over the double mattress. With the Sheridan being a little expensive - do you think I should go for king or double. That's my wee question - night all

Ruddy 'eck!
Sheridan stuff certainly isn't cheap, it it?
(e.g. https:/ /www.de benhams .com/we bapp/wc s/store s/servl et/prod _10701_ 10001_4 6402+SK 65034C_ -1 )
However my thinking is that if you buy the double size then, as you struggle to fit them, you'll spend the next few years cursing your decision to do so every time you make the bed.
[Glad you liked the headphones, by the way]

All of my sheets over the years came from Dunnes and they were king sized as my then bed was king sized.
But my thinking that because it is a pretty expensive article that there would be more "give" in the double sized. The king sized sheet when I put it on naturally doesn't give it the tidy feel. I have to shove it in under the mattress. Not a big deal guys. But I know once I open it - I won't be able to bring it back. - can't sleep at the mo

Well if so it's not worth getting a king size fitted for a double mattress. Better just switch to flat and make the bed 'properly'.
I wonder though if it is a quality thick mattress which needs extra deep fitted sheets.
It's not a bad thing if a fitted sheet is tight, because you can skip the ironing.

I think the Sheridan sheet will be ok - it was a whole new bed I bought. That last king-sized was too big and the mattress itself weighed a ton.
This mattress isn't thick but is comfy. Thanks for replies.
Have ordered the Sheridan - on its way in 3-4 days. I would never normally buy anything as expensive as this as in sheet but it was the feel of the duvet per se.
