Are you sure 3M isn’t the brand?
1 inch is 25.4mm so 3 mm is 0.11811023622 inches
1 metre is approx 40 inches. So 3 m is 120 inches.
You can use Google to do any kind of conversion like this. It gives the exact number for this one as 118.11 inches.

I can understand the confusion though. Imagine my disappointment the first time I tried Scotch tape.

Do any of you know if this very strong self-adhesive comes off easy enough - like if I wanted to take it off etc.
Well Douglas, you are confused by Scotch tape.

In Australia the main brand of sellotape is called Durex.
