Check your deeds or the land registry.
Deeds tends to be of limited use.

If the boundry wall is in good condition then it's your neighbour's. The moment it's falling down, or other maintenance is needed, it suddenly is yours. And the system is so awful it doesn't note the original agreement and doesn't even mark the line that accurately.
