Tuesday. I have a dental appointment this morning, then to the hospice, then back here for yer wee man coming to fit a smart meter, or so he thinks! Unless they have developed and super one it ain't gonna happen the gas and electric meters are too far apart, as three fitters have discovered so far. All go innit!

My new hedgehog, the one I spotted a while ago, has taken up residence in Tiggy Towers! I know he/she was about, by the lack of slugs and snails, and, of course, the food I put out disappearing! I watched it mooching about last evening as I sat out back with a bottle of red, watching the deer on the hillside. It'll get to know me eventually.

Have a happy day everyone.

Sounds tranquil Boaty. And good morning.

Morning TL. A very pleasent evening before a hectic day today!

All well?
Still haven't gone to bed yet :/
Question Author
In that case, evening Jim. All well mate?
Soon
Apart from my awful sleeping pattern, I guess so, yeah. I'll try to get some sleep now, haha.
Question Author
I wish you all the best Jim. Been there, done that. At one point I didn't sleep a wink for just over nine months!
Morning all.

Breezy coolish day down here.

A new name needs to be created for your new spiky friend that has taken up residence Boaty.
Question Author
G'day mate. I think I'll call him assuming it is a him Spike. :o}
Love hedgehogs. Wish we had one in the garden. Never even seen one in the churchyard next door.
Question Author
They are lovely little creatures, don't see many slugs and snails about if there is one around!
Not sure I could create an original name for a Hedgehog.

Run a competition on Chatterbank for names.

You wouldn't have to accept one of the suggestions if you didn't like it.
Just tell everyone their suggestions didn't quite make the final list ;-))
Question Author
That would cause some aggro oz! I think I'll go with Spike. It'll get used to me.
But what if it is female Boaty!
Poor little critter could burr up being called Spike, rather butch.

"Needles" for a girl?

Told you I'd struggle naming a Hedgehog ;-)
Question Author
Spot on oz! Many moons ago a female school friend had the nickname of Spike. She was a delightful nutcase! :o}
The nuttier the better, in my humble opinion ;-)

Serious people I find difficult.
Question Author
Me too mate! Some of them are so far up themselves they have little grasp of reality.
Since Hedgehogs are part of the discussion,,

"That's a point well made".

Self importance, a wonderful trait ;-/
Question Author
:-D Can't argue with logic like that!
Logic ?
From me?

Hmmm, time for a re-think ;-))
