.....have gone on holiday....the first day had some ups and downs...well the ups only came when Janet opened the wine....to recover from the downs....

Janet also discovered at the last minute that she had accidentally arranged for one house sitter and two house looker afterers....she hopes they all get along well.....x

A house sitter stays in the house....a house looker afterer pops in now and again to check post and water pots.....ususally early when the house sitter is in bed....x

Exactly, Tony......not so much damage to the house....but most of all to make sure the garden is watered.....you know what students are like....if it doesn't leap from the ground shouting.....WATER ME!...they don't notice....

But it was a bit of a mix up to start with..... :-)

Oh I hope so, Tony......lost so many plants last winter and it's such a dry slope of a garden....needs lots of water on the new plants....and you have a heatwave coming I think......x

Give your house sitter a phone call and ask him / her to water daily if I were you.

Well there's watering and watering, Tony....my visitors will do more than show the garden the hose....and in truth they're using my house when they visit Mum who is getting worse.....a tea and loo stop after their visit...x
