....Davos....in an apartment with a massive balcony and two ash trays....

It did seem as if Switzerland was one long tunnel and we were going to miss the scenery.....but today has changed our opinion. A ride to the top of a mountain via the funicular railway, lunch on the mountain top and a long leisurely walk back through the forest has shown us the bird life, fantastic wild flowers.....memories of childhood....and a posturing wild hare....the care the Swiss seem to take of their countryside is just bliss.....and there is no litter!

Tonight is sitting with some of the best red I've tasted....in a glass fronted balcony....watching the rain and listenting to the football fans in the nearby bar.....another goal please, Switzerland!

Wolf....the Swiss border guard and I got on very well....eventually....I made two new friends when my rucksack got stuck in the wooden bench in the forest.....people can be very helpful but I shall now take off my rucksack when leaning on any sort of seat.....and as for the explosion this morning!
It was ear shattering...the whole town came to a halt....but I have no idea why John and my friends thought it was my fault.... :-(

No snow...no avalanches but I think the explosion this morning may have been averting a huge rock slide....

I've seen some super machines here, Tony......so long to have a go.......my group wouldn't even let me try the down hill dry toboggan fun today.....

Was off to bed for an early night but the Swiss drivers seem to be celebrating around town...rather noisily... x

Sharon.....Janet is part of a team allowing John to think he is caring for Janet as part of the Care in the Community scheme.....it keeps him happy..... :-)
