Pigeons Nesting Under Solar Panels.

We have pigeons nesting under our solar panels. They are making a lot of noise and start cooing as soon as it gets light. They are disturbing my sleep!

These are feral pigeons, not wood pigeons and are deemed as a pest.

I'm tempted to pick then off with a powerful air rifle but not sure re the law and whether it will be effective as they may be replaced by more pigeons.

Has anyone else had this problem and did you get a solution?

Yes, we had exactly the same problem. We had a company in who cleaned out the dead pigeons and nests (five black bin bags worth!) and then fitted mesh all around the panels to prevent the pigeons going underneath. It was worth having it done and the pigeons have found somewhere else to nest.
They don't mention this problem when you have the panels fitted do they?
